We provide rigorous, arts-integrated, project-based learning experiences across content areas. All students participate in shared inquiry and use interdisciplinary problem-solving and

collaboration to connect learning to their prior knowledge and individual backgrounds while learning from one another’s varied perspectives and experiences.

Personalized Learning

In every classroom, well-prepared teachers skillfully implement a variety of differentiated strategies to engage all students with content aligned to the rigor of grade-level standards. Our small class sizes help support student mastery of learning.

Learning in
the Arts

Each conservatory is designed to give students increasingly immersive and focused experiences, allowing students to engage in creative expression in the different art forms. Students receive instruction from AVPA conservatory teachers, professional artists, teaching artists, and through partnerships with local cultural arts community organizations.

We focus on building our student's emotional intelligence and executive function skills through a range of research and evidence-based strategies.
